The whole shop · updated Tuesday morning
Rings and chains made at two benches in Arezzo. Every price includes Italian VAT, every weight is measured, and nothing is listed that we cannot cut this month.
Before you choose a number
Ask for the paper sizer and we post it the same day, free, anywhere in the EU. If you would rather not wait: take a ring you already wear on that finger, lay it on a ruler and read the inner diameter in millimetres. Multiply by 3.14 and you have your size. 15.3 mm is a 48. 16.6 mm is a 52. 17.8 mm is a 56. 19.1 mm is a 60. 20.4 mm is a 64.
Measure late in the day with warm hands — fingers run up to a full size smaller on a cold morning, and half a millimetre of error is one whole size. If a knuckle is wider than the base of the finger, tell us and we file the inside of the band to a comfort fit at no extra cost.
Alde wears sizes 50 to 56 on one hand. Nobody is one number.
Sold out · Bricco · €1,980 · back 14 March
When a piece runs out we leave it up with its price and a date, because a blank space teaches you nothing and a hidden listing wastes your afternoon.
The Bricco takes twelve days at the bench: three to raise the dome, two to anneal and true it, the rest to file and polish. Nine are promised to the people already on the list, so if you join today you are looking at early April. We will tell you that again in the email rather than let you find out.
Delivery, returns and the two things we cannot take back. Open whichever one you need.
Italy €9, the rest of the EU €14, both insured for the full value and free over €450. Outside the EU we quote at checkout and you pay the duty on arrival. Parcels go out Tuesday and Friday and take two to four working days inside the EU. A ring cut to a size you chose adds ten working days before it ships, and the listing says so above the price.
Thirty days from the day it arrives. Unworn, in its box, with the guarantee card. We pay the return postage anywhere in the EU and the refund reaches your card within five working days of the parcel landing back at the bench. Engraved pieces and commissions are the only two we cannot take back, and we warn you twice before you confirm either.
The piece; a stamped guarantee card carrying its weight in grams, its fineness and our assay number 184 AR; a cotton pouch cut here in Arezzo; a polishing cloth; and a pre-paid return label already addressed to us. Ask in the order notes and we wrap it properly for a gift, with the price card removed.
You get one email when it is back, sent in the order people joined, and twenty-four hours to take it before it moves down the list. We never hold more than we can cut: the date on the listing is the date the metal is due back from the assay office, not a hopeful guess.
Up to eighteen characters inside the band, hand-cut, free. Choose the face at the order stage — we cut in a roman capital or an italic script, and we will photograph it before it ships if you ask. Engraving adds three working days and makes the piece non-returnable, which is the whole reason we mention it this often.
Card, bank transfer or a deposit of 30% on a commission with the balance before it ships. Everything travels insured and signed-for in a plain box with no maker's name on the outside, which is exactly how we would want ours sent to us.
Send us the finger, the hand and what you do with it all day. We have answered that email four hundred times and it takes us about ten minutes.
